Christina Applegate is opening out about a horrible encounter.

The Dead to Me actress vividly described her recent experience with sapovirus, a virus that is typically spread by fecal-oral contact, and made lighthearted jokes about how the sickness caused her to “piss out of my ass for a few days.”

Christina, who also has multiple sclerosis, admitted, “I’m going to be gross,” on the messy podcast’s April 23 edition. “I was in a pool of s—— when I woke up at three in the morning. It’s not enjoyable to have MS at three in the morning and try to change your bedding while you’re unaware that it happened.”

Christina claims that the health catastrophe started a few weeks ago when a person “really close” to her “dropped the ball” and carried COVID-19 home, resulting in her first-ever infection. Christina’s immune system was already impaired by MS, thus her symptoms, such as an elevated heart rate and chest infection, were more severe.

She recounted to cohost Jamie-Lynn Sigler, “I was so dizzy.” “I was really ill. I was unable to eat. Nothing was possible for me.”

Christina began vomiting during the stool test since it was “so gross” to determine the reason of her illness. She eventually received a sap virus diagnosis.

About the illness, the 57-year-old said, “it is when you ingest the fecal matter of someone else from your food.” “Someone else’s poop went into my mouth, and I ate it.”

Christina thinks she contracted the virus from a takeaway salad she had at a restaurant that was going to close for an unrelated reason.

“I’m going to be sick for almost three weeks because of this,” she added mockingly. “So that’s my fun story.”

Furthermore, Christina stated that she has developed some strong views regarding adult diapers as a result of her experiences with the sapovirus and MS, both of which can occasionally cause issues with bladder control.

“Here’s my problem: Why do they make them pretty for women?” The former Anchorman mentioned. “Like, ‘Hey baby, you wanna get down and dirty in my diaper lingerie with my own urine?'”

Health Travel:-

Christina Applegate revealed that in 2021 she received a multiple sclerosis diagnosis.

“Hello, pals. I was diagnosed with MS a few months ago,” she posted on social media in August. “The travel has been peculiar. However, I have received a lot of support from people I know who are also affected by this illness. The road has not been easy. But as is common knowledge, the journey never ends. Unless some jerk stops it.”

Initial Symptoms

Christina thinks that “six or seven years” before to her 2021 diagnosis, her MS journey truly started.

Christina said, “I noticed, especially the first season [of Dead to Me], we’d be shooting and my leg would buckle,” in a Good Morning America interview from March 2024. “I honestly simply blame it on being worn out, being thirsty, or the weather. After that, nothing would happen for months, and I chose to ignore it.”

Upon commencing filming the third and final season of the Netflix series, the actress revealed that she was “being brought to set in a wheelchair.”

“I couldn’t move that far,” she said, “so I had to tell everybody because I needed help.”

Christina stated to Vanity Fair in May 2023 that she “can’t even imagine going to set right now,” confirming that Dead to Me will probably be her final on-screen appearance.
