Fortnite Fans Demanded Collaboration with Taylor Swift

Since the release of the lead single from her new album, “The Tortured Poets Department,” fans of Fortnite have expressed a desire for Taylor Swift to appear in the game.

Today, April 19, saw the complete release of Swift’s eleventh album, “The Tortured Poets Department.” A music video for the first single, “Fortnight,” starring Post Malone, will be published at a later date.

Since “Fortnight” is the album’s first song, many gamers believe Swift ought to be included in Fortnite. A user on X posted a thread speculating on why Swift would be the main performer at Fortnite’s music-themed festival, citing their mutual affinity for Greek mythology and brand alignment as supporting factors.

“If you’ve read this far, thank you, but please understand that I’m mostly doing this to make myself laugh and to show that I’m a big Swiftie and Fortnite girl.” they continued.

The Weeknd and Lady Gaga have already headlined the Fortnite Festival and contributed several songs and skins to the rhythm game.

While some fans are thrilled that Taylor Swift’s hobbies are overlapping, others think “Fortnight” is her way of acknowledging she’s a fan of the game.

Since the track list for “The Tortured Poets Department” was leaked in February, there have been rumors of a Taylor Swift collaboration with Fortnite. Although no official announcement has been made, Swift has teased several surprises for the album’s release week.
