On Monday in Los Angeles, Melissa McCarthy went to the Center Theatre Group Hosts CTG the Gala. Director and friend of the Oscar-Nominated Actress, Adam Shankman, was also present.

McCarthy dressed by Mac Duggal for the event, embracing pastels and tulle for spring. Soft seafoam green layers of tulle Rushing adorned the tiered, Strapless A-line dress. McCarthy wore a blazer in the same color as her dress to keep her appearance Monochromatic.

In the same color, she also donned a pair of platform heels. The actress from “The Little Mermaid” accented her outfit with a rainbow-colored Kurt Geiger bag, sparkling rings and bracelets, and a few brooches pinned to her blazer’s lapel.

McCarthy previously donned a metallic purple gown with pleated floor-length skirt and long sleeves to the PGA Awards in February. The gown was designed by Mac Duggal. Katja Cahill styled her for the occasion.

McCarthy’s most recent outfit stands out in terms of color from another recent ensemble. On April 18, McCarthy attended the premiere of the new Broadway musical “Scuffs” and dressed all in black, including a sheer Mock-Neck Long Sleeve Blouse, Matching jacket, and pants. Her standout jewelry looked great against the otherwise muted ensemble.

The actress was decked up in a pair of Tender and Dangerous nude embroidered gloves that featured images of jewels, cigarettes, and knives along with the lines “Can ladies kill?” and “Kiss here” up the middle finger. McCarthy has worn clothing by Christian Siriano, Valdrin Sahiti, and other designers in addition to these previous two Ensembles in 2024.

In Los Angeles, The Center Theatre Group is a Nonprofit. The Ahmanson, Taper, and Douglas theaters are just a few of the venues where the Center Theatre Group manages artistic endeavors and educational programs to foster theater exposure in the community.
